The play-by-play
How to do it.
- Step 01
Stand upright with the balls of your feet on a raised platform.
- Step 02
Hold dumbbells or use a calf raise machine for resistance.
- Step 03
Keep your legs straight with a slight bend in the knees.
- Step 04
Raise your heels as high as possible by pushing through the balls of your feet.
- Step 05
Squeeze your calves at the top of the movement.
- Step 06
Slowly lower your heels below the platform to feel a stretch.
