Overhead press set analyzed by AI form check
A standing overhead press set filmed in the gym, footage HyperBody's AI form check scores rep by rep: lockout, bar path, rib flare, and leg drive.
What the form check measures on this lift
- Lockout
- Your elbow angle is measured at the top of every rep. Presses that finish below about 150 degrees are flagged as incomplete lockouts.
- Bar path
- Horizontal bar travel is measured through each rep, flagging a press that drifts forward or wanders instead of going straight up.
- Lean back
- Your trunk angle is tracked all rep long. Leaning back more than about 25 degrees to sneak under the bar gets flagged.
- Leg drive
- Knee angle changes are measured on every rep, so a strict press that quietly turns into a push press gets called out.
- Symmetry
- Left and right elbow angles and wrist heights are compared at lockout, flagging one-sided presses.
