Dips set analyzed by AI form check
A parallel-bar dips set filmed in the gym, footage HyperBody's AI form check scores rep by rep: depth, shoulder position, elbow path, and lean.
What the form check measures on this lift
- Depth
- Your elbow angle is measured at the bottom of every rep, flagging dips that stay above about 110 degrees as shallow. It also checks whether your shoulder drops below your elbow.
- Lockout
- The elbow angle at the top of each rep is checked, so reps that stop short of straight arms get flagged as incomplete.
- Forward lean
- Your torso angle is measured through the set, flagging both an excessive lean past about 40 degrees and a lean that wobbles from rep to rep.
- Shoulder shrug
- Shoulder elevation is tracked at the bottom of each rep, catching shoulders rising toward the ears under load.
- Swing control
- Front-back swing and side-to-side sway are measured separately at the hips, flagging sets where momentum takes over.
- Symmetry
- Left and right elbow angles are compared on every rep, catching one arm dipping deeper than the other.
